It’s Spring, Happy Campers!

At least I hope everyone is a “happy camper”. I’m glad it’s Spring.
Maybe we will finally see sunshine to go along with that.

I also hope that everyone is looking forward to the meet on June 28-
July 1! Don’t forget to send your payment along with your registration
form found in the Winter magazine. If you can’t find it, the registration
form is here:

Even if you are an honorary lifetime member, I’d like for you to complete the form so that
I can make sure I have your current information, and that I know
whether to get your packet ready or mail your membership card to you.

I’m sorry if I confused anyone in my last secretary report. You are still
able to pay for your lot rent ahead of time for $20 a night. I can accept
payments for lot fees from June 24 through July 1. By paying this
ahead of time we’re hoping to speed things up at the front gate.

Last year there was talk about the city imposing a $30 fee if you are to
ride your golf cart throughout Portland. At this time Tom Zimmerman
has been able to get the fee down from $30 to $10, which will be
payable once you arrive. If your golf cart is licensed there will be no
fee.
